“SHOW ME THE MONEY!”

“SHOW ME THE MONEY!”

As Rod Tidwell screams in the film Jerry Maguire, “SHOW ME THE MONEY!”

You like to get paid, right? Seriously. You enjoy the consistency of receiving a paycheck according to your set pay schedule. Every person does. It is a crucial part of our everyday lives. Not having the funds you expect for rent, car payments, insurance, food, utilities, etc. can create issues and hardships that can take weeks, months, sometimes years to rebalance.

Question: How can you ensure that you receive the pay you earned in a timely manner?

Answer: Submitting your timesheets on time.

We get it. Submitting time is zero fun and it’s just one more thing to do in your busy schedule. At the end of the week, the last thing you want to do is try to remember what you did and for how long. You just want to get home to your well-deserved break time. But like we’ve said, it is extremely important to complete and submit your time by the appropriate day and time as specified by your employer. Why?

  1. Inaccuracies can happen. For instance, you would be shocked how often employees accidentally short-change themselves hours they honestly worked and deserve to be paid for completing. Suggestion? Try filling out your time daily instead of waiting until the end of the week to do it.
  2. Late timesheets create headaches and lag time. We require timesheets be turned in every Monday by 10:00 a.m. Out of the hundreds of employees we have can you imagine if one out of every 5 didn’t turn in their timesheets on time? As a result, our staff has to readjust and reorganize themselves in order to make pay correct for those who did submit their time on time and those who didn’t.
  3. Creates additional confusion and stress. Because we don’t want to short-change anyone the funds they deserve, we make sure everything is correct and processed as fast as possible. However, if timesheets are submitted without the appropriate personal information, incorrectly, or late, it extends the timeline for when you’re paid. It’s frustrating not receiving pay when you need or expect it and there could be additional headaches in your personal life as a result. We don’t want that. Instead, we want you to succeed and get paid on time! We just need to work together.

Because we can’t do your timesheets for you, we rely heavily on your cooperation. Please know, if you ever have any questions or are confused about your timesheet, reach out to us! We are here to help you and our mission is to help create a happy and productive experience for you!
